RED Entertainment has successfully hosted and entertained the Guyanese public at our first ever “Kiss My ART 2K13” art festival, which was held at the Everest Cricket Club. After executing the creative, innovative event, we attracted a wider range of artists from all over the country and even across the Caribbean.
In 2014, the art festival was staged at Promenade Gardens on July 27, 2014. Kiss My ART 2K14 featured local art of all kinds, in a format that was vibrant, exciting and attractive to all ages, but particularly the young and the young at heart. For both years, the event included the display and/or sale of photography, paintings, videography, textiles, jewelry, pottery, sculptures and so much more! Art pieces were exhibited in style and were available for purchase through a silent auction or at a fixed price, dependent on the artist’s choice.
In addition to the art exposé, Kiss My ART featured in 2014, Trinidad’s Lexo TV Santana Puppets, a comedic act that patrons thoroughly enjoyed. There were also several artsy activities that were featured in the 2013 festival such as – Bravo Arts’ Body-Art Performance, ‘Collage’ Band, Choreo Steppers Fire Breathing, Aerial Silk Acrobatics by Radical Romel and so much more!
